Airplane Travel with wedding gifts? Flutes? Shot Glasses?

we're traveling to Colombia, South America for our destination wedding. Does anyone know if you can carry on glass items like Flutes, Picture Frames?

We're also doing shot glasses as our wedding favors. Can we carry on 200 of them?

I've searched on TSA's website but can't find any info on them.

I don't think the TSA will have any problem with them. You should ask your airline about the limits to what you can carry on. There are usually size limits (should fit under the seat in front of you) and there might be weight limits. You might be able to ship stuff in advance by UPS or other courier, or as checked luggage (again, check with the airline as to weight limits and fees when you go over).

Customs in Columbia may also try to charge you duty on these things. You should probably have receipts ready. Or hire a freight forwarder or courier company to deal with customs for you.
