Can anyone give me ideas for my daughter's 3rd birthday party?

My daughter will be 3 in a short time and we're going to have a little party for her friends. They are a bit too little to be playing a lot of organised party games at the moment so any ideas will be welcome. Also we're not sure about having the party at home or going to the forest and having a woodland picnic party.

if i were three again i would love a woodland picnic party. You could have a teddy bear picnic and a scavenger hunt!

A woodland party would be wonderful. The children can play in the sunshine. That is all they really want.... besides cake and ice cream. This age doesn't need a lot of structure or party games. Make sure you have enough help so no one runs off. (Most of the time the parents hang around at this age so you shouldn't have to worry about this too much.)

Hi, Using your Local Park is a great place to host a free Birthday Party you could take a picnic and the kids will enjoy the play equipment and are able to run a round, you could still take balloon etc and decorate a small area of the park as long as you clear up afterwards.

Also most little Girls love to dress up, so why not have a fancy dress tea party??

i'd be scared about having 3 yr olds playing in the woods they might get lost. you can go to bettycrocker.com and they have lots of party themes to choose from. have your daughter to look at the themes with you and let her pick out the one she likes best.

Source(s): both my kids just love the butterfly and pony themes from this site. been using it for 5 yrs now.

You shouldn't be too far out 3 years after she was born!
