If Obama believes tax cuts will help the economy, why on earth would he exclude the affluent?

Does his belief in class warfare outweigh his stated belief that tax cuts will stimulate the economy?

    Pure class warfare,use the wealthy as reason for why you don't have money.

    Never mind that you Quit school at 16,got in trouble,became a parent before you could vote and got addicted to drugs and alcohol.

    It's all somebody else's fault.

    All that would happen is that the affluent would have the same tax rates that they had from the Reagan years until 2001. I don't think rich people were suffering under Reagan. Do you?

    Besides, if the middle class have more money to spend as a result of tax cuts, who is going to benefit from that additional spending? Answer: the people who control the companies that sell stuff to the middle class. I believe another word for those people is "the rich."

    The affluent sock a greater proportion of their money away out of general circulation than do the middle and working class, almost by definition. They can also afford better tax lawyers and offshore bank accounts.

    Every dollar of tax relief that gets put into an account in the Caymans hurts the economy.

    Democratic Socialists believe that both the economy and society should be run democratically—to meet public needs, not to make profits for a few. To achieve a more just society, many structures of our government and economy must be radically transformed through greater economic and social democracy so that ordinary Americans can participate in the many decisions that affect our lives.

    If one made a million a year and was tax 10% (10K) and later give a temporary reduction of 5% for nine years; they shouldn't consider it an increase when the time has expired; nor consider themselves excluded. Think how much they saved during the reduction.
