Who is going to win the opener between the Vikings and Saints?

I would personally pick the Vikings. I feel like they have a more balanced offense. They have arguably the best running back in the league and they have a solid passing game. New Orleans has one of the better QBs in the league but the vikings will stuff the run so the Saints will become 1 dimensional. I have the Vikings winning by 10 points.

Who do you think will win and why??

I agree that the Vikings can stop the run better than the Saints. In fact, the Viking defense is much better overall than New Orleans. Adrian Peterson ran for 123 yards in the NFC title game, and the Vikings seemed to be passing at will.

The Saints defense relies on big plays to succeed. And they are very good at that. But they have lost Darren Sharper to injury - and he was the biggest playmaker of them all last year. The Saints defense won't be the same without him.

As long as the Vikings can manage to keep 11 men in the huddle on every play (it sounds so easy, doesn't it?), they should win this one.

    Vikings 35, Saints 24.

With the receiver core not as strong as it was last season the offense of the Vikings are not as explosive. But they should be able to squeek by with a 17-14 win.

They really should have won the NFC title game. A lot of people blame Brett for the loss but the 6 fumbles didn't help. Especially the one right before half when AP could've walked into the endzone.

Not to mention some dirty hits. And they even did the same to Warner.

I would take the Vikings winning by 3 to 7 points, mainly because im with you on vikings stopping the run,and i think jared allen will get to Drew Brees

I have Vikings fans complaining non-stop for a week straight following this game

Saints because Brees has a very very accurate arm and better WR's to go to.
