If unborn Children are alive should abortion automatically become illegal/wrong?

The child is not alive if it cannot be kept alive out of the womb. Which in general is not until 20 weeks so it does not have rights until that point in which late term abortions are only allowed if it will cause the death of the mother to continue the pregnancy. It is each mother's choice in whether to continue a pregnancy or abort it.

I am pro-choice and believe that every woman should have the right until a certain point to get an abortion. I had an abortion, I was about 8 weeks pregnant. I had just lost my job and my (now) husband couldn't get me to change my mind as I was freaking out about being able to even pay bills. At the time we couldn't afford us let alone a child. Now we are married and financially stable so we have a much better home to bring another life into.

Will I ever get another abortion? No. Do I support the right to have that option? Yes.

Okay, unless anyone eats fertilized eggs then the egg comparison is invalid.

And when China originally limited the population they would kill little girl babies (OUTSIDE THE WOMB.) I doubt they do that anymore, but that is DEFINITELY wrong.

I'm mixed on the issue.

I don't think abortion should be used as birth control, I do believe you are killing a living being, you are killing something with a heartbeat, and as far as I'm concerned, I'm pregnant with a baby, not pregnant with a collection of cells. And I don't like that most fathers aren't given a choice, because even though it's not their body, it is their baby.

At the same time, I don't believe in back-alley abortions either which is what would happen should the right to choose be taken away as history has displayed.

I think they should be limited and reserved for drastic situations.

I don't really believe that the fetus isn't a living thing. Sure it's living. It is growing after all. But it hasn't been born yet...it's not a separate, functioning human being yet. The woman carrying it is. She will be affected by whatever happens during the pregnancy, including the mere fact that the pregnancy exists. So if she doesn't want it there, she should be able to have it removed, no questions asked.

And just to throw this out there, I do NOT see how you can say that the pro-lifers come out on top in these debates. That's a laugh.
