some how i do feel that you are looking at this game from the wrong angle.
its more like. how are geelong going to shut down collingwood? now does this answer your question? and if it doesn't. i must be a lot more optimistic than most. as they have been the best team all year.

Collingwood can do it. They have to stop Geelongs midfield and apply lots of pressure when Geelong have the ball, last time they met some Geelong players turned the ball over from Collingwoods pressure which they scored goals from.

Shifty is correct -- Collingwood went past Geelong months ago
its Geelong that need to worry about how to stop Collingwood

Game all comes down to ruck play and whether Collingwood is going to kick a score like 6.18 or will it be 18.6.
Too many variables to know for sure with Collingwood's up & down goal kicking.
I just hope the Catters are mad enough to win.
It will be a great game.

They can do it yes, but like when they met last time, the pies will have to play as tight as possible, and give the cat midfield absolutely no room to move. When they have possession, their kicks/hand-passes will need to be precise, and their kicking for goal will need to be about 60 to seventy percent better than in the last few weeks. their back line just needs to continue their stingy dominance of opposition forwards. This is how the pies will win, the only way, which is the same recipe they used last time to great effect. cheers
