It is so sad, and it natural to cry on this day. I didn't know much about it until last year. I read from my school called "The Usual Rules" Its about a little girl who looses her mother in one of the twin towers. Goes through her life, its a really good book.

You are fine. It will pass.
I've seen this before: a small child doesn't cry when the loss occurs, because s/he is to young grasp it. Then when older, s/he will cry over it.
