I had this problem and i tried just about every product available! Nothing worked, then someone told me to use a razor blade! Voila! It takes Alot of blades so I went to hardware store and got a box of 100 for $6...and get safety holder. So what I did is spray windex on a small area then scrape away! It takes time and elbow grease but my shower looks brand new! Now I use a squeezee after each shower!

50/50 water vinegar mixture, let it sit for about 5 minutes then use a dobie and it'll come right off. Comet also works well do and it's non-abrasive, doesn't matter what anyone else says about it.
