Here in the "Apple Capital" , I think -Golden , and it's just about time for tree ripened ones - yummy !

love apples but for today - I'll go with the eagle. Tomorrow it will be the golden cat.

Eagle; there's a nesting pair about 5 miles from here.
They're old timers in the neighborhood.
The babies are just learning to fly long distances by circling high in the sky for hours.
They're incredible!
