I have a virus on my computer and have tried everything to remove it?
I got on my laptop today to discover I was unable to access any programs, and have a little thing on my task bar called "Security Suite Demo" but it won't close or anything. I have shut my computer down and run it in safe mode scanned for viruses and found 2 things infected and removed them, thinking the problem is solved I restarted normal. The virus is still there, and it won't let me access any anti-virus software in normal mode because of the virus. I currently have Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, but it hasn't been able to remove the virus. In Safe mode I cannot connect to the internet. Every 30seconds or so I get a warning telling me I have a virus and stops what I'm doing. I have tried to scan for the virus numerous times. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. -Thanks, Mark.

You should scan agaain but slightly differently.
Many forms of malware are able to remove the executable part of antivirus and anti malware programs WHILE you are downloading them, so my suggestion is this.
What you should do is use a second computer to download a copy of malwarebytes and then update it. Next, copy the updated malwarebytes to a CD or DVD(if your pc can read DVDs) and insert the CD or DVD into the drive.TURN OFF your infected pc, not restart, TURN OFF.Wait 2 minutes then hit the power button while continuously tapping the F8 key. You want to enter safe mode and run the malwarebytes from there.
If you have problems doing this, register at forums.techguy.org/
They will walk you through it.
I would also suggest that you install some kind of antivirus, there are many free ones. I have used !avast quite successfully for well over a year, and it's FREE!

Many newer viruses have a failsafe of intelligence built in, which helps against virus scans. Some detect your virus software and automatically shut it down. Others that replicate through the hard drive can detect a cleaning process and reinfect the files all over again. You have two options. First, you can get with a friend who has another computer. Remove your hard drive from your computer and put it into an external USB case. Have your friend perform a full virus scan of your drive. Since you did not boot to your drive or run programs from it, their computer won't get infected. The other option is to take your system to a technician, like at Best Buy. They have a set fee for a system clean, which will include virus scan, spyware prevention, and defragmentation.

You've got a fake scanner on there (but you already know that), and there should be even a FEW MORE WAYS to remove it. Now, the thing is, most antivirus programs can NOT detect stuff like this because it's not actually INSTALLED on there. It is actually put on there as crapware or rogueware, & since it's not really on there, the antivirus programs can't detect it. They try to get you
to buy there "recommended" product & once you do, they'll try to scam your credit card, or cheat you out of your money.
Anyways, to remove this, just simply go to the Windows System Restore. It's located in
Start>>Programs>>Accessories>>System Tools>>System Restore. You can click either the
first or second option. Click on the first bullet. Then, it'll ask you what time do you want to restore it
to. Any earlier time you want, but it has to be at least before you got the hijacker on there. Click on the day you want (don't pick a day or two before the hijacker got on it, but pick one's from months BEFORE it got on there), and it'll take you to the day when the rogue (fake) security program got on
there.
In the future, do regular security scans with your antivirus & Malwarebytes so you'll stay protected & won't get this rogue security program installed on it. You should also go to the Windows System Restore control panel & choose the SECOND option so you can create a restore point (you should create the restore point everytime you install an update for something; ex.: antivirus software scan, mbam (malwarebytes antimalware) scans & updates, Adobe Updates (that applies to ALL THINGS by Adobe), Java updates, Windows Updates, etc.) to that time where EVERYTHING was up-to-date on your computer.
I hope this helps! This should address & help you with your problem!

Did you update malwarebytes before running a scan? Alway check for an update before scanning.
Now if you have already done that and still can't remove the infection. Then chances are it is not a virus by a worm. This worm pretty much can block your protection programs from working, prevent you from going online and can stop you from downloading any type of protection program to remove it.
This happened to both my brother and sister. I ended up have to reinstall windows for them. Even after I went to a site that assist in helping remove infections.
Here is the site if you want to see if they can work with your to remove it, but chances are your going to have to reinstall windows
http://www.cybertechhelp.com/forums/index.php
To prevent infection in the future follow these simple steps
1. Only go to safe sites
2. Only download from safe sites
3. Never use torrents of p2p programs (limewire and so on)
4. Don't open links in spam mail
5. Run weekly scans with your virus and spyware protection programs

Ok truthfully all of those answers most likely will fail. Downloading stuff wont help, or anything. Heres what you need to do, try all of the other methods other people said. If those dont work, do the following:
Open task manager, by hitting ctrl alt and delete. Then click processes, under processes see if there is something that has number other than zero under CPU. And if the user is not system, but its your username, and it looks suspicious, right click it, then hit end process tree. Also look for support information on this suite thing, if you send them an email or call them they usually back off because you can actually threaten their company. YES ITS A COMPANY, its not some russian hacker ok, its a company who wants you to buy their product. Email me at Alex082896@yahoo.com for further help,

Anti virus companies cant keep up with them, they said so last month, It was on Yahoo Tech news pages. Last week a new virus worm got out, it brought down many servers, keep up with the news, Move to a free more secure virus free operating system there are over 100 of them to pick from.
you could try Googles new free Android operating system or Intel Moblin or one of the other 100 or so free Operating systems check it out here.
