I want to sell my damaged 1984 Mercedes... for parts or some other way?

It runs, but overheats within 30 minutes. It overheated badly this summer and something probably cracked. Anyway, I was wondering if I should try to sell it for parts or as damaged good or what.

Also, if you have any tips for the actual selling part, that would be greatly appreciated too.

If you need any more information, just tell me.

1984 Mercedes 300d

I bought it originally for $800 three or so years ago. It needed some work but ran pretty well considering.

Thanks in advance for your advice.

If you are looking to scrap it completely then the best thing to do is sell the actual car body and the engine separate most places will let you do that and that way you do actually get more money from it in the end but the only problem is finding a way to take the engine out without taking it to a mechanic and getting them to take it out because that will cost you as well so if you know someone that is good at that kind of stuff then get in touch with them and find out what you can do to take it out.
