will this be sufficient identification for getting my provisional license?

the website would not be able to answer such a specific question.....try calling the dvla and speaking to a real person, explain what you have said and they will give you a definate answer..

You can apply for your first British provisional driving licence online if you:

    1) are a resident of Great Britain

    2) you are currently not prevented from driving for any reason

    3) you have a valid UK passport or another form of identity

    4) can provide addresses of where you have lived over the last three years

    5) you can pay £50.00 by Mastercard, Visa, Maestro, Electron, Delta or Solo debit or credit card

then you can able to apply for provisional licence.

You can apply it by online by post or by phone also.

To get more information contact to nearest driving authority center.

    Hope this will help.

if you look on your D1 form it will tell you what you need to do you can use the birth cert (full one)

student card, recent bank statement, recent benefit,P45 or P60 letter that type of thing try not to worry about it this is a very easy process the dvla will send your identity documents back too you separately

and hopefully your license will follow if there is some kind of problem they will contact you to explain .
