15) This comes from a joke between me and some friends. The Caps and Pens are going to hold a charity MMA event. Obviously, Ovi/Crosby would be the main event. What would they title the fight and pick 3 other bouts you think would make for interesting undercard events?

Ovechkin would be a bruiser, more of a striker, Crosby would be a submission specialist...It would be a good fight but Crosby would be DQ'ed for hitting below the belt

Other fights:

Alex Semin v Maxime Talbot: It would be the lightweight fight of the night. It would end in a draw because both of them don't know how to throw a punch and they'd just slap the piss out of each other.

Nick Backstrom v Malkin: Battle of the softies.. 2 centermen who don't throw hits...It would be a waiting game, I think Backstrom would try to hit malkin but accidentally hit himself in the face and knock himself out.

Comming out of retirement:

Lemiux v Jagr...A battle of the ages. I think this would be the best fight, Jagr is still strong but Lemiux is crafty. My money goes on Jagr by tapout via butt on face.

Both are great players, I usually give the upper hand to Ovechkin... but we all know the playoffs are where true stars are made and Crosby has definitely outshined Ovechkin in the playoffs. Crosby involves his teammates and is MUCH more creative than Ovechkin. Ovechkin does the same play EVERY time he carrie the puck over the blue line. He just tries to use the defenseman as a screen and gets off a wicked wrister. Sure he scores many times, but he makes it easy on defenseman because he doesn't involve his teammates as much. Crosby also has shown the knack around the net. I dislike the Penguins and Crosby very much being a Red Wings fan myself... but I gotta give Crosby credit. He knows what it takes in the playoffs and deserves the nod. I think it will be a SCF rematch. Last year I was not at all worried that the Pens would beat the Wings. This year... not so much. I still think Detroit would have the upper hand, but the Pens look much better this year. Surprisingly to me, because on paper they aren't as good as last year.
