How can I stop an allergic reaction to cats?
I have a meeting with a local cat rescue with my teacher and their representative next week for our club. I have yet to tell her I'm allergic to cats and I don't want to be sneezing and getting hives and causing a fuss. Is there anything I can do to stop these symptoms from happening? An over the counter drug? Please help!

Maybe phenergen? Its an antihistamine.
I'm allergic to cats too. I don't sneeze though, but I get hives, puffy eyes and sometimes swelling. The phenergen helps it for me :)
