White spots on face? Help me? Read please!?
So I've had this before it happens most summers so the first time I had it was like 5 years ago. So many other people have it - people I know do, and other random people do. But anyway, I found what it's called but I forgot. I've been to a dermatologist like 3 years ago and got steroid cream to get rid of it and it worked but I don't have it and I'm going back in like October to the dermatologist again. So anywayssss, they are white/lighter spots on my face and it's due to like the pigmentation of my skin from the sun, like sun spots but white. If you can give me any info on it like what it's called (its not viligo or whatever cuz its like not on my body and i remember thats not it) and if you give me any home remedies on how to get rid of it quickly or slowly i guess please do so! it'd mean a lot! THANK YOU!!!! :D <3
xx
oh yah u might say i should wait til the dermatologist but im impatient so i'm seeing what i can get now from you guys :D thanks!

Use SPF 55 sunscreen, everyday when you go out into the sun. Since the spots are caused by the sun, when you use sunscreen with a high SPF the spots should go away after a while. And using sunscreen will also make your skin soft, and when you get older you won't get wrinkles.
It might be cause by a pigment disorder (forgot what it's called) that makes spots on your skin not tan. But other parts will tan. So when you go out in the sun, you get tan in some places, and not in others. And over a while you will have spots of non-tan skin, and tan skin. So using the sunscreen should help.

I don't know the name either but my kids had it too, my son has it and like you said they come out during the summer. The recommendaion the doctor gave me was just to apply sunblock on his face before going outside so that the spots would not increase. She said only that time would get them off since the skin would renew its self and in winter you dont get so much sun exposure.
I think it maybe called pityriasis

Sounds to me like guttate hypomelanosis - a condition in which certain spots of your skin do not produce melanin, the enzyme responsible for coloring your skin.
