Has anyone ever had problems with mirena? Did you have it taken out?

I had the Mirena for 2 years and it was nothing but problems.

I was in pain (I'd get sharp stabbing pains in my ovarian area), couldn't loose weight, was always tired, broke out badly etc.

I had it removed, felt normal and then not even 2 months later I got a major surprise. Haha.

I had Mirena in for 2 days. I had never had little ones before, yet i concept it become a sensible mindset to birth control. That damn ingredient gave me the worst soreness i have ever felt. It become negative. besides, i ought to no longer conceive the first year it become out, because Mirena led to me to augment Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. i did not conceive till in simple terms about 2 a million/2 years after having it bumped off. strong success chick!

I have the Mirena, and I love it. yes you're going to gain weight because it has progesterone in it. Anything with hormones is going to make you gain weight. If you're going to take it out, you have to have a professional do it. Do not do it at home.

My Mirena always stabbed me and my husband so I went to the doctor to have it removed. I only had it for a few months.

i got it too but i love it too i have not gotten pregnant yes at first it was a pain to have it but when u have sex u have to fix the wires inside u so they don't hurt. but i have gotten used to it yes i gained a little bit but im loosing it little by little.but i think its better then birth control pills to me they made me sick and feel like if i was pregnant.
