Its ok to use a Dual CPU E2140 @ 1.60GHz 1.60GHz but it wouldnt do any good for high definition gaming, video rendering, Software Testing or production as u would need at least a 2.40GHz 2.40GHz Duo to do most of that but running windows 7 and simple rpograms will run on your Dual CPU E2140 @ 1.60GHz 1.60GHz fine just dont over power it by running over active or complex hexi programs.

That is what you should find in a netbook. If these specs are of a netbook this, they only get a tiny bit faster. However for a computer bought to multitask or for gaming this is not nearly enough power as my android phone runs a 1 ghz snapdragon processor.

Very poor for a desk top.
You get 1.6 and 1.66 GHZ processors in cheap 10 inch net books these days.
I got a 1 GHZ processor in my phone.
Depends what you want out of a computer though.

the quick answer is the atholon. The atholon is the more less costly purchase ant the performance will be equivalent to the twin center. A Intel twin center outperforms the X2 yet till you're an particularly heavy consumer you wont have the ability to tell the version. i ought to get the 2d one.
