Why is there some idiot who wishes to ban Christmas in the UK?
What a bunch of miserable people we have at the moment. The credit crunch is all doom and gloom and winter consists of dark nights, so we have some festivals at this time of year to see us through all that. Then some PC idiot (yes, I don't use that word lightly, stronger ones could be applied if needed) wishes to try to ban Christmas in this Christian country. It was originally a Pagan festival anyway and has been going for thousands of years, so why ban it now? Even the Chinese are celebrating it not in the same way as we do, but it is there and it is popular and increasing in popularity. Whereas the PC morons would like to make Winter even longer and get rid of the likes of Halloween, Bonfire Night, Christmas and probably anything else that makes life in the modern UK bearable. If you don't it, then leave is my answer! We don't tell others what festivals to have in other countries and lots of people (who are of other religions etc) can practise their traditions in the UK, so what's the harm in Christmas and others like it? Miserable people!

I agree....PC prats want to stop Christmas, Easter etc in case it offends Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus etc. I've yet to come across anyone who is offended by Christmas or Easter.
If I moved to Israel to live, I wouldn't expect them to ban Yom Kippur, or if I went to live in Dubai, I wouldn't be offended by Ramadan.
Anyone coming to Britain would know about these festivals before coming, so wouldn't and shouldn't be offended by them.

The day Christmas receives banned, then it is the day Diwalli, Rosh Hashanna, Yom Kippur, Ramadan, id El Fadir and all the different non secular holidays also get banned. perhaps ALL non secular human beings might want to be made to artwork on ALL THEIR holidays. perhaps that'll educate them a lesson! perhaps we'd want to continually get rid of paid holidays altogether. no longer even Independence day. perhaps we'd want to continually get rid of the sabbath to, make all and sundry artwork 7/365. I propose that quicker or later a week OFF become commanded with the help of God, so it is non secular. So lets get rid of it. all and sundry NOW has to artwork 7 days a week, 12 months a year, no holidays, no sabbaths. And if a Muslim is meant to artwork on Friday evening they are going to artwork. And if a Christian is to artwork on Sunday, they are going to artwork. in simple terms vactions. we'd want to continually nevertheless save those. Vactions.

Well said. They are a bunch of miserable sods. They should go f**k themselves and piss off if they don't like it, but isn't it weird that they don't mind having days off work/school to celebrate christmas. This is a Christian country and no matter how many nationalities live here it's still our country. OUR COUNTRY, OUR RULES!!!
