a bachelors opens up opportunities for higher paying jobs that vocational degrees can't give you. depending on your major , you could go to community college and transfer to a four year school. what do you want to do?

A college education and degree is required for a lot of high paying jobs. Although it isn't guaranteed that once you graduate from college you will have a good job, but you will have a higher chance and a better opportunity.

Nowadays besides from education, experience is preferred. So if you don't think college is right for you, you don't have to go. College is not for everybody, but if you would rather work for minimum wage, jumping from job to job for years at a time, or earn a degree (even an Associates looks better than just a High school diploma) and land a job that pays at least $30,000-$40,000/year?

I would recommend you go to a community college for your first 2 years, it is much cheaper and you will have time to decide what you want to do-either to continue going to school or simply earn a certificate and go straight to work.

It's important in many countries but not all. Labor workers in these countries have an extremely low pay rate, a college degree will help them live a life less painful.

On average the more education you have the more money you make. Especially in the sciences. And while money does not buy happiness, poverty is no great honor either.

The statistics are clear. On the average you will earn well over an extra one million dollars in your working career if you get a bachelors degree. This is aside from the fact that you will get significant personal growth.

    Thanks
