If the Apostle Paul was running for political office on the Tea Party Ticket today, could he be elected?
After all, he used to kill Christians, and it seems that is much worse than "dabbling in black majic." The Democratic Party elects all kinds of people of questionable character while the Republican Party begins to unravel {again} by nitpicking their own candidates to pieces. Conservative does not have to equal white mainstream Christian, or does it?

Why would a Turkish evangelist be interested in going to tea parties? Democrats and Republicans (the US kind) are far too right wing for someone like Paul.

Paul's conversion is one of the most moving stories in the New Testament. I don't know if his personal history would disqualify him. but I do agree that the Republicans set a higher moral bar for themselves than Democrats do, by far.

There is no such thing as the tea party "ticket". The tea party has no candidates running for office.

I think they want Carl Rove to take a slow boat to China. Who knows maybe all this will actually help them by stirring up the pot (or cauldron) and if you told me the way to join the republicans is to practice
witchcraft and magic- it would NOT shock me!
