No response from canada immigration regarding common law application, what do we do?

We sent in our common law application for permanent residency, and received verification from canada post that it was received. They say the maximum to hear back that they have started processing is 52 days at the latest, it has not been 72 days! We call numbers to get ahold of people and it takes us in loops....what can we do?

Canada immi definately received our app (according to can post), yet they are 3 weeks beyond their maximum to send us a letter informing us that they have started, and we can't get ahold of anyone!

thoughts?

You have been told they receieved it - you will NOT get any further notifications at all. They will NOT tell you by letter when or if they started processing. why should they?

if you have your client ID numbers you can check the progress online (see below) but be aware that processing is SLOW

e-cas to check the progress of your application online

this is how long family class processing takes outside of Canada - assuming you submitted an outside application.

PS for common law - I hope you did prove that you have lived together legally for 12 months.
