What do you think about this guy who went off on the school bus?

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2010/09/21/fla-dad-apolo...

I don't think this guy should have threatened those kids but I can understand how a guy can snap. He has a disabled daughter that suicidal from bullying. She has a used condom thrown on her and the school nor the bus driver did anything about it. Think about the kids who actually committed suicide from bullying. Maybe he was thinking about that and trying to scare the kids from doing it again.

It's sad because he kept calling the school but no one would return his calls. He was just at the end of his rope and his daughter was coming home crying every day so he just snapped.

He has apologized and seems very sincere. I hope the school now does what they should've done in the first place and get on the bullies. But I have a feeling a lot of the parents of the kids on that bus will file lawsuits and things will just get worse.

Since kicking their @$$es is not a legal alternative (although it would have been the quickest and most satisfying remedy) the father should have explored legal recourse such as pressing battery charges. These little douche-bags' parents expect the law to protect their children form assault/battery they should expect other peoples' expectations of the same for their children. Looking back in hindsight the used condom should have been kept as evidence. The bus camera should have been used to identify the perpetrator(s). Depending on what state it happened in the charges could go up to aggravated battery for exposing the victim to a potential disease risk; heightened penalties could also result from the victim being disabled. If that doesn't get anywhere he could sue the school.

Source(s): People who prey on the mentally or physically disabled/ handicapped are the lowest of the low.

as a school bus driver I would be upset that someone got on my bus and started yelling at my kids, but as someone who got picked on in school I'm glad he did it. Believe me there have been days that it has taken every once of control I have to keep from going off on the kids. I can't afford to get arrested or loose my job, but someone needs to get through to these kids, and it's obvious most parents just can't believe their baby is really an a$$hole that actually picked up their nasty habits, bad manners, foul mouths and attitudes from them. It's a shame when someone is being bullied and the bully gets away with it. The biggest problem I found is that the schools are afraid of the parents and the parents are afraid of their kids. What ever happened to a good old fashioned butt whipping? I got spanked if I was bad, and I'm not traumatized buy it, what traumatized me was being picked on for not fitting into the perfect little mold that the other kids thought I should be in.

I got his back.. I guarantee the bullies will think twice before they mess with her... I think the MS was just thrown in to get sympathy. Either way, the punks will not mess with her any more. It could have been worse, luckily the punks didn't have much to say...

I PRAISE THAT MAN AND FATHER. He got fed up and those stupid kids did not take any accountability for their actions; neither did their parents. The rotten apple never falls far from the rotten tree.

It is easy for a normally rational person to go off when they think their child is being hurt. I can forgive this one.
