A multivitamin is a multivitamin, plain and simple. Truth be told, you probably don't need to be taking one at all.
Believe it or not, your body (yes yours!) has the ability to synthesize any vitamins it may need by itself. The expceptions to this are vitamin D (and that's only in certain genetic lineages) and vitamin B12 (which your body makes up for by being _very_ good at storing, and needing very little of).
The reason your pee may have turned yellow (is...that really such an unnatural color for pee to be?) is because of the vitamins you were taking, most likely. You see, when you take _more_ of any vitamin than your body needs (and it really doesn't need _that_ much of any of them) the rest are urinated out. This is why vitamin megadosing is hilariously useless (and, in the case of certain vitamins it can be dangerous).
But really...please think for a moment...if taking Centrum really made you get sick, or gave your body a disease in any manner....don't you think it would be on...the news or something?

Despite turning your pee yellow the vitamins may still be doing you good if you would otherwise not be getting enough of them in your diet. However if you are already getting enough vitamins in your diet anyway then taking the vitamins is just giving you expensive urine.
I saw a show on tv ages ago where some nutritionist claimed that the vitamins that come in vitamin tablets are of a different handedness to those in nature and that they don't protect against cancer as well as the ones found in food. (Vitamins are chiral compounds - i.e. come in two forms - the mirror image of each other but otherwise identical). When you take the artificial stuff it blocks absorbition of the natural stuff and hence you may not be protected against cancer as well as you otherwise might be.
In case this is true I generally only take vitamin suppliments every second or third day so I'm getting at least some of my vitamins in the naturally occuring cancer protecting form (and probably not putting as much stress on my liver, kidneys or whatever). If I know I'm getting enough veggies and stuff then I don't take vitamin supliments at all (but they are handy when you can't be bothered cooking a proper meal and you know you are probably otherwise going to be deficient in them).

I take the Nutrilite vitamins. They can only be purchased online or through someone who personally sells them though. They are made from mostly organic plant material, unlike chemically produced vitamins like Centrum. If you take any very strong vitamin it can turn your urine a brighter color, but that is normal. You can even check that with your doctor -- there's nothing wrong with that. Vitamins do help you to not be so tired, especially if you aren't getting proper nutrition from your diet.

Your urine changes color because not all Vitamin C and B present in the Centrum can be absorbed therfore it is passed through urine making it a bright colour, there is nothing wrong with that.
You could try going for a Vitamin B injection at your nearest pharmacy that will make you feel less tired for quite a while and is pretty good for your system.
Another option is to take some amino acids these will help you feel less tired.
I can suggest two products by optimum nutrition:
BCAA 1000 (branch chain amino acids)
Opti-Women (Multivitamin with a formula specifically for women)
You can get them on http://www.bodybuilding.com/
-note these are not specifically for bodybuilding or anything a like they can be used for ordinary people.
There is also a good forum regarding nutrition and you can read product reviews to help you make the right decision that will make you feel better.

You know, you could check with your family physician, but I think that too much vitamin is seldom a bad thing. So, save yourself the headache and just go get a pack of those multivitamin supplements with Zinc (Zn), Calcium (Ca) and/or Magnesium (Mg) additions. The advantage is that the amount of the additive intake is controlled if you follow the dosage, because too much of any of those three is not necessarily harmless.
Zinc - In women, zinc is good for relieving the symptoms of PMS and for their babies it help with better birth weight and better growth during the breastfeeding period since the zinc in a woman's body transfers to the baby's. Zinc is also known to have good effects on the skin.
Calcium - Almost all of us know this one. Calcium is the most important chemical element needed for bone, teeth and hair growth.
Magnesium - Magnesium is the fourth most abundant mineral in the human body. I would say that the vitamin supplement that comes with Mg is the best, because, even though it is needed in lesser amounts in the body than Zinc and Calcium, it helps with a larger variety of bodily functions and processes (about 300 to be more precise). Magnesium helps with blood pressure regulation, cardiovascular stability, steady heartbeat, increased metabolism and, to some extent but not as much as Ca, bone health. I have heard from reliable medical sources that Mg also help suppress cravings for chocolate and similar sweets, which helps a lot with weight control!

It's all a huge scam. Your pee is neon yellow 'cause it contains all the stuff you paid for in all the vitamins you were taking. Your body can only process and only needs a certain amount of nutrients a day. The rest goes right down the toilet. I'm willing to bet the reason you are always tired is because you are a woman and as such you are prone to low levels of iron in your blood due to your periods.
Instead of wasting your money on pills here is a list of iron rich foods that well no doubt help you feel better.

Try an iron tonic for tiredness -and the yellow pee is just your body getting rid of the B it doesn't need - as its water soluble -See if you are getting good vitamins from your diet - We normally wouldn't need supplements - I did research with my children when they were home schooled to find out the recommended daily doses and what we actually got and their father who ate muesli and fresh fruit for breakfast each morning had achieved nearly his daily goal this way. It s sometimes counter productive to take more than you need -

your pee turned a bright color prob b/c of the vitamin b's. although it can be alarming to the mind, its really okay. i always think of it as, ah, i remembered to take my vitamins today and smile :)
I would recommend taking a good quality daily (not centrum) and an adrenal tonic to work on not feeling so tired. below are links to great products.
you will have to do a little research and read about the products to see what one you feel fits best.
good luck!

First, don't worry about the yellow pee. Your body excretes whatever liquid soluble vitamins you got that were "extra."
Second, liquid vitamins are more absorbeable and you can often actually feel the results within twenty minues. Try Vibe by Enniva, apple flavor. It'll actually give you an energy boost.

Vitamin C. If you're white, don't take Vitamin D because you already get enough from the sun. Too much vitamin D can lead to disorders.
I say eat lots of veges and fruits, barely eat red meat and increase your whole grain.
Use olive oil.
Exercise.
Don't drink alcohol or smoke and avoid drugs, legal and illegal.
And most importantly, LIVE LOVE LIFE!
Stress and anxiety can do so many things to us. If you feel you are too anxious about your health (hypochondriac like me sometimes), do something you love like singing or dancing or writing or have sex.
You don't really need vitamins if you eat properly. 80% alkaline forming foods and 20% acid-forming foods.
