Effects of Cystic Fibrosis?

I have CF and my names Cody. Im 16. Some of the physical effects are: 1. short in stature 2. clubbed fingers and toes 3 distended stomachs. there are NO intellectual changes..emotional effects are kinda difficult bc most people with cf are on a TON of pills and breathing treatments every day, so that often leads to depression...in my case i take 16 pills every day and morning for various cf related things. and i take 8 pills EVERY time i eat bc we cant digest the food im on 4 breathing treatments a day and i also have CFRD ( CF related diabetes) so i have to check my sugar and get a insulin shot every night..this has been very hard on me bc i feel like all i ever do is take meds and stuff. but i know it keeps me alive so thats my motavation..the social effects vary with each person with me im very out going. i love to talk to people about cf and play sports in school..all the other guys kinda take it easy on me though lol..i have had 28 sinus surgerys and 29 sets of ear tubes. ive had many boule surgerys and MANY hospitallizations due to the lung infections i get every few months...im sorry to give you so much to read lol but i felt like i had to answer your question..if you would like to know anything else please let me know.
