What to expect after a d&c procedure?
I had to have a d&c done yesterday due to fetal demise, I am still having a hard time emotionally dealing with the loss but what physical symptoms should I expect? My legs and vagina are very sore but I am not having much bleeding plus I am having some lower back pain. Could the back pain be cause by the epidural? They also gave me a twilight so I wouldn't remember anything. Any help here is appreciated!

Ive had three due to the same and your physical symptoms are pretty standards. General soreness could last awhile depending on a lot of things or it may go away quickly. Same with the bleeding. The soreness shouldn't last more than a week though.

I am sorry for your loss. It all sounds pretty normal. If the bleeding doesn't stop or gets heavy call doc or go to er.
