Is this a shining example of what Republicans refer to as Literacy?

"You teach a child to read, and he or her will be able to pass a literacy test." ~ George W. Bush

Update:

Bush did not come from Texas. He was an implantee from New Haven, Connecticut.

wow!! they sorta beat you up on this one.but being a vet.im sure you have a cast iron stomach.besides its always insults they hurdle at you.why cant people sorta just answer without real bias.i intend on telling the truth no matter where it leads.they defend any and everybody as though they were the messiah.and some wont defend him.that might not have been a good analogy to use.but ...anyway im sure when they take a long look at who they do defend.in reality they wanna ring their necks for being so wrong.about almost everything.but party first america last.you re right im a Texan. George is from conn.

I openly admit my grammar is atrocious, but honestly have read even a few questions or answers here on YA? It seems the more extreme a person is (in either direction) the more ignorant and illiterate they become. Hell look at the sheep like answers you have already gotten.

You are a Vet? Did you get to deal with many "corpse men" while you were in. too bad it was not about the Army, I don't figure he would have had a problem pronouncing "Medic". Or how about "been to 57 states, have two more to go to and they won't let me go to Alaska or Hawaii"

"It is wonderful to be back in Oregon," Obama said. "Over the last 15 months, we’ve traveled to every corner of the United States. I’ve now been in 57 states? I think one left to go. Alaska and Hawaii, I was not allowed to go to even though I really wanted to visit, but my staff would not justify it."

    -Barack Obama

GWB don't talk to good and Obama thinks math are hard.

Other than a simple grammatical mistake, I have no problems with what he said.

    Do you?

"He was an implantee from New Haven, Connecticut."

The word you are looking for is "native," the specific clause "native of."

Joe Biden said earlier this week that he's "second in line" for the Presidency.

    Frightening.

Is this where we are supposed to list some of the dumb things your messiah has said. Gee, where to start...
