If my dog trys sniffing everythings but dose that mean he's trying to be friends with everything?

My dog sniffs everythings but other dogs people cats... Dose that mean he wants to be friends with everything?

Update:

I know that but I mean I read that butt sniffing means freindship and that he sniffs evrythings butt dose it mean he wants to be friends with everything ?

    That is how dogs explore and lok at stuff.

    Dog have an excellent sense of smell. They use it for a variety of things. One of the ways they use their nose is to get to know you better.
