what should I do automatic transmission flush for ford focus?

I have focus zx5 (Coupe) with 57000 miles on it. Dealer is telling me that I was suppose to do transmission flush on 30K, and its due. do I need to to do that?

    It would be a good idea, but you don't have to do it at the dealership.

    If you do not complete the required maintenance items as scheduled - the warranty is no good should the transmission fail.

    You do not have to have them performed at the dealer but, you do have to have a receipt from where ever.
