I can't edit an answer on Yahoo answers?

I answered a question with a question, (because a good answer would depend on how the questioner dealt with a particular issue), the questioner responded to my question, now Yahoo answers isn't allowing me to edit my original answer in any fashion.

Now that I have the information I needed, I'm not allowed to give a more detailed answer.

Does anyone know the reason for this? Is it a glitch, does someone hate me.....(lol)

Latest glitch, apparently. There are several postings on the Suggestion Board about it already, including mine:

Post there as well and maybe staff will figure it out and fix it.

Glitch. Y!A will always have glitches.

The edit glitch is bad for experts because if someone adds "Additional Details", experts won't able to edit their answers due to the glitch.

There were glitches happening all weekend from the updating done on Thursday and yahoo may have tried to fix those and created this one

    This is a new gremlin.

You are risking chat by adding edits that ask questions with questions, so does the questioner.

You are better to use IM or Yahoo Answers Email

The "edit" button should be to the left of the "delete" button. Maybe the answer has gone into voting already and they won't allow you to change it now. If not, there must be a glich.
