What will Republicans do to bring back our jobs from overseas?
Specifically, what plan do they have in place?
Dina W: Would you like us to lower our standards to China's level in order to bring back our jobs? Get rid of pollution laws, get rid of minimum wage, get rid of taxes. Ah yes, I see it now.....a beautiful vision for America.
Get real please. Bush was already giving tax cuts to the richets people, dismantelling EPA regulations, and fighting to keep the min wage down...and yet we still lost jobs to other countries!
TAT: We may not own any of the jobs that are sent overseas, but bring the largest consumers in the world, we have the ability to put tariffs and restrict the amount of foreign goods coming INTO the country.

How about eliminating all those restrictions, regulations, and mandates that make it "economically viable" to manufacture a product somewhere else other than here? What about drilling and mining for our own energy resources? We have a Gulf Oil moratorium on drilling while Obama loans Brazil and Mexico billions to do just that... in deeper water than we do! It may mean we take over the niche which made China the "industrial power house" it is today and become the world's number one provider of rubber doggie doo toys! But I doubt the American worker is ready for this since that may actually mean working more for less pay...

Yeah, that's what a person could illogically conclude from what we're hearing, isn't it. It's all those pesky laws which drive the huge multinationals to China and India, etc. I don't want to breathe the air I had to breathe - or tried to breathe - as a kid. Lately, the answer to everything in the US seems to be to turn back the clock to 1903 when the trusts owned and controlled everything including the government without any restrictions... and we all know how that turned out. I wonder if today's Americans would have the guts to risk it all and stand up for what they believed was right, for the recognition of their dignity, their value as human beings and their rights. I don't think so. Americans talk big and brave against the government but whimper and piddle like whipped puppies when it comes to confronting their corporate masters.

You don't own any jobs over seas and neither does the govt. They cannot bring them back. They have, however, tried to make it more attractive to stay here. We regulate them to death. We tax them non stop and have threatened them with cap and trade, and a VAT. We make them pay for their employees health care, vacation time, and retirement. We let the employees run the business through thug unions. why would anyone want to keep a business here?

I would like to see corporate tax rates lowered to levels comparable to other countries.
America's litigiousness and affirmative action rules make business more expensive here also.

Raise taxes on imports from other countries, and lower taxes for strong American made companies.

The tards actually think these companies want to come back. All we have to do is pay their taxes for them, and they are back in a flash.

Cannot do it without the Democrats...
EPA regulations, Expensive Unions, and high taxes make it impossible to bring back manufacturing to the USA.... and we need.
Any country that cannot be self sufficient is doomed.

no plan and they won't make one. why? it's not their concern, since they claim to be about less government then doing anything on that subject would contradict their statement. plus it's cheaper for companies to outsource which in turn gives bigger profits and more money for themselves.

They will cut taxes for companies that ship jobs overseas.
