Don't you think Common Wealth Games are creating problem for common man?

See Delhi Government imposing ban on everything. Suddenly they have removed 1600 Blue Line buses without the thinking about common man. How they will travel in capital. Since Last two days I have been facing the same problems. Most crowded buses even there is no place where you can place your foot. Most DTC buses driver don't stop on stands.

    Yes.

Investing such a huge amount of money just for a sports event doesn't worth it.It became a problem as the government is raising prices to collect funds for the commonwealth games which has resulted in a problem for the common people to meet their daily needs

If you have notices that developed countries always choose an underdeveloped or a developing countries for such big events. The reason behind that is they know that through this they have to engage all resources to one event. It need a big amount for organizing this kind of events. Somehow this stops our other development. It waste time and resources both.

Today we witnessed that all burden comes into common man account. Middle class and lower class people are suffers most. They are unable to manage their basic needs. Living in the capital of India became costlier.

The countdown is ticking for a nation that still looks like a messy construction site with roads filled with rubbles, new construction boards pulled up every week, beggars and thieves lurking in every corner, and common man grumbling over rising taxes to pay for the Common Wealth Games.

With the level of suspended particulate matter (SPM) in Delhi's atmospheres measuring 1.5 times higher than the prescribed limit, many citizens are complaining of respiratory problems that is making breathing difficult.

Electricity cut for construction create a big problem in this hot season especially at night.

I know you may have brought this up already with her, but I think in general for starters you need to talk with her more about this subject, and not in any sort of accusatory fashion either, I mean in more serious fashion but don't bring up the wealth on your side necessarily. The fact that she initates sex with you is really a great thing. There is more than one way to look at this, I mean maybe her having sex with all these stars and athletes was her looking for love, and in a way she found it with you believe it or not. Once in a safe and complacent place, maybe she's relaxed a bit, and I know you could understand taht. I mean a lot of women are out there looking for sexual fulfillment, and until they get the concept that some of that is in her head, they could just sit out there having one night stands forever. look... are you in the wrong for wanting to have sex with you're beautiful wife as often as you can imagine? No...Is your wife wrong, for loving you, having sex with you once every two weeks and being a good wife... No. But where you both sit is different than where you both stand. Find out, what will work for her, maybe you are right and that you don't turn her on, but usually that's not the case, it's the abstract, it's the other things involved in life. I mean as a one night stand how much respoonsibility do you have... none, no obligations at all... now you do things for eachother, now she has become part of your life and in a way has responsibilities that she attends too I assume I would say that in reality her life has changed since meeting you, and that she has facilitated it how ever she can best do, but in unison with other compatriates that sit here with me, you need to talk with her, and in all relationships communication is key. Be honest, but be Thoughtful.

Yes, they're creating a lot of problems & additionally, it is like playing games with lives of millions of poors by spending huge amount of money without caring about poorest living in hutment colonies, sleeping on pavements, footpaths & in villages poors commiting suicide en masse, no 'SIDDHI MAN' is able to help them by so called by 'siddhis'.

In India, > 80 % houses in villages have no toilets & proper bathrooms too, particularly ladies face worst situations.

In early morning before dawn, if any rail enters any Indian city, the passengers near the window can see people in rows abt 5 feet apart sitting with a can of tin, or a lota or a bottle filled with water excreting sewage.

In Mumbai city, this scene is very common all along whole local railway line of abt 170 kms of all routes combined. Dharavi is never shown to any foreigner, I've seen > 100 times till 9 years ago.

If you mean the great mass of daily earners, by saying 'common' people, then yes indeed. Every public event is a nuisance for them to reach their work spots in time or to do petty business (due to police control in the route of public event) etc.Even regular big business may find problems in movement of goods due to over crowding and traffic jams on major roads.

Then it has become common in most cities. Even the police give permission to hold political meetings on major road junctions, making the road users take circuitous routes or wait in the crowded junction amidst sounds of horns, toxic fumes from the idle vehicles waiting around etc

The civic authorities do not seem to care for conduct of any special event or even routine meetings on election eve or some campaigns, etc, to assign places least disturbing the road users etc. The blaring film songs and later the 'fiery' speeches of leaders blaring on multiple mikes simply extend to mid night making life in the surrounding residential areas, a real hell!

So CWG are no exception. People have got used to it. Particularly the common brood is used to uncommon extremes of disturbances from elite extravaganza!

It was a wrong decision to host a mega event in crowded city like Delhi, delhi people suffering for last 5-6 yrs,Now you will have more slums & population as these workers will make delhi their home,Govt will agree for vote bank.Admiral V K Singh

I think all these problems are due to insufficient planning at the helm of affairs. Even the CWG village should have been some where else. No in the capital city of a country.

    1. I don't think so. Common Wealth Games are National Pride Issue. Our National Pride is much above than our personal inconvenience.

    2. Now Delhi has a very good net work of Metro. It is more wise to use metro than the Blue line.

These kind of things do happen, when one does any thing. Suppose you arte going out for enjoying your holiday on some hill station. On the way you vehicle met with an accident and hed light is damaged and in market at your destination some one pinches your purse, would you curse the holiday or hill station or your journey, so stop grumbling. Enbjoy them when started

I would hate to be in Delhi right now, I would be very mad with all that is going on over there...CWG should be held in a place that knows how to take care of its own people first before hosting for outsiders.

Croc's just jealous because he didn't think of it first :p
