How would the man know the difference in circumcision?

I have seen a lot of questions about circumcision on here and have seen different arguments from both sides of view. My question is, how would an uncircumcised male know what sex feels like for a circumcised male and how would a circumcised male know what sex feels like for an uncircumcised male? The main reason I am asking because of curiosity because each one claims to know what the other one feels like.

For example a lot of uncircumcised males say males lose most feeling when they are circumcised.

So really how do males know what it feels like unless a man has tried it both ways?

Update:

Look I am a female so it would be impossible for me to have sex that way as I am asking this from what a male thinks.

BTW I know about female circumcision and ain't no way I am doing that.

Update 2:

@e w you make a valid point, but in female circumcisions when taken to the fullest extent, it includes losing the entire libia, having the entire clitoris removed as well as being sewn up so you cannot have sex at all. As an adult I am saying I would never choose that for myself.

Well in England they know sex is better with a foreskin, because we women tell them !

Although circumcision is not popular over here there are some!

and having encounter the circumcised penis on more than one occasion (three male's) cut

and when you compare the level of heavy breathing and back arching etc It does not take long to work out who gets the most enjoyment the guys with the natural penis's have longer and more intense orgasms

god only knows where American males get this idea that all women prefer the circumcised penis from because it's far from true (maybe their just trying to convince themselves)

you can see this when you have to masturbate a cut male he has to close his eyes to run sexual fantasy's through his head because what is happening at the penis is just not enough which is why their always so quiet

where as with the natural male you can talk there is communication it's just so much more inter mate nor do you end up with arm ache playing peek-a-boo with the head may not be the most interesting thing in the world but it's a lot better than nothing!

and god knows where guys get this idea that women want guys who can bang on for 30 minutes or more ((boring)) lots of foreplay YES endless bang bang bang bang bang NO give me a guy who spends 30 minutes on foreplay and 5 minutes on penetration great the other way round rubbish!

sex is supposed to be fun, not a sprint, and certainly not a blood marathon.

Well, when it comes down to pleasure, there are a lot of things that can affect it, so it is somewhat subjective There are studies that have compared the differences and noted how the foreskin contains a large amount of nerves and specialized detection to movement and stretching, but how much it would affect an individual or couple is something that would vary. One important note is that males circumcised as infants do not accurately compare to those as adults because there is a 15+ year gap before the guy is even sexually active.

However, there are common sense things that show a foreskin adds certain benefits during sexual activity. The foreskin makes handjobs, masturbation, foreplay easier, more fun, and more pleasurable since it is much easier to move the foreskin for pleasure then try and grasp the penis with a fist, it also produces its own lube and recieves pleasure (unlike a hand). Sex is also improved by making the penis thicker, reducing the need for lube, and making the penis more organic by the extra movement and padding, all of which make sex more pleasurable for both partners. So the "cut guys will last longer" thing isn't really valid.

Also, although you may have seen arguments from both sides, what matters most is what the man thinks is best, what he would want for his body, his life... so the choice should be left to him. Imagine if you were forced to have even a "minor" form of female genital cutting done to you (labia and/or clitoral hood removed). Your pleasure would probably be reduced, but perhaps more importantly so could your confidence, the scars a constant reminder. Genital cutting should never be forced.

EDIT: Carlos G you are missing the point, regardless of what you or I think about circumcision and what studies we believe are accurate or valid, the only opinion that matters is your son's... leaving him intact is not about the parent preferring intact penis or believing it provides many benefits, it is about respecting your son's choices, letting him decide. You didn't know what your son wanted and forced something on him without immediate medical need.

Some men report 'increased' sensation after adult circumcision. They're either in denial, lying outright or the glans hasn't yet had time to keritanise and dull the sensation. There has been careful scientific research that proves the circumcised penis is less sensitive. Other than that, you have logic and common sense - cutting millions of fine touch sensitive nerves from a functional sexual organ is not going to make it feel better. During infant circ, even more damage is done. Scar tissue is not very sensitive at all, so it's not just the removal of nerve endings, but the damage left in its place that affects sexual functioning. This is infant circ damage on adult men, which you've probably seen before: http://www.noharmm.org/IDcirc.htm This is what is lost during circumcision: http://www.norm.org/lost.html

As a woman, I much prefer the gliding action from an intact penis. There are clear sexual differences for women. I am now with an intact partner again after several cut partners, and I haven't had to touch the bottles of lube I used to use. This link explains it - it is sexually explicit, so be aware: http://www.foreskinfunctions.com/

It is a valid question, but look at it this way. If you have a part of your body, say your index fingertip surface, or taste buds, would you know you would miss these?

The point here is that the parts have many many nerves and one can appreciate the sensation that they give. As such, one can also appreciate how it would be without that sensation. You can consider eating with no taste or seeing only in black and white. Anyone can imagine not having something that gives sensory input. If it is cut off, the sensory input goes too. Further, there is a dynamic action including the movement of the ridged band along the vaginal wall -- which on the in stroke leads to the glans flaring -- widening in girth (I know that will not happen with those parts removed -- it can't).

Further, like most natural men, there was a large period in my life when I used CONDOMS. This limits touch and stretch sensation of the ridged band. It is touch and stretch sensing nerves that cut guys DO NOT HAVE. I think condom sex for a natural man is somewhat like sex for a cut guy. You feel little touch and stretch is very limited, so you don't feel that.

It takes away a lot, including nerves and blood vessels.MALE Circumcision is nerve damage cutting off about 20000 fine touch and stretch sensing nerve endings and removing a source of pleasure from the male FOR LIFE. This is 2/3 of the total pleasure source amputated! For infant circumcision (the only type I am opposed to), this is nerves, blood vessels, protective covering and pleasure zones taken away from a human before the human can experience this.

Note that almost no men who are left NATURAL at birth end up getting circumcised. The foreskin parts are not any problem and Men enjoy their foreskin parts.

BTW, most FGM is only labia and clitoral hood removal (the clitoris is partially internal so it is actually never fully removed even in the rare case where external clitoris is cut off)) In any event, all forced genital mutilation is horrible.

ALSO, to rebut the misinformed guy that says men cut as adults say sex is better, this is actually not so. A Korean study of this found that more men said sex and masturbation was harmed by circumcision. Note also that many men that are cut as adults had issues that were resolved by the cut. Some of these issues could have been taken care of otherwise, but the cut made sex better by removing their problem. So the opinions of the men cut as adults, are not so meaningful. This is especially the case where the guy had social issues (where they felt that they needed the cut to fit in socially) -- in that case, once cut, these guys will almost never say natural is better, they have bought into there changed penis state and they will defend it to the grave. However, there is a US porn star that was natural and got cut. He said it was the worst decision he ever made -- said sex went from color to black and white.

There have been studies done to measure sensation in circumcised and uncircumcised men. Also, the tissue that was removed has been analysed to find out what structures are removed. Also, some men are circumcised in adulthood, so they have knowledge of both states - most of these men report decreased sensation after circumcision. Finally, we have reports from women who have experienced sex with intact and mutilated penises - many of these women claim that sex is harsher and less satisfying with a circumcised man. Basically, with the amount of medical knowledge available, no one needs to have personal experience in order to know that circumcision is abusive, damaging and unethical.

I am intact so can only speak from the point of having a foreskin. But if the foreskin no longer protects the glans/head then it rubs on the mans underwear all day so over time this will cause it to not be as sensitive. also there are men on here that have had sex both ways, either cut later in life or restored after being circumcised young. I have tried to masturbate and have sex while holding my foreskin back so it couldnt move. I hated the feeling and it just felt rough.

In the end I think it should come down to a man choice if he wants to be cut or intact. If an adult man wants to be circumcised then its no ones else business but his. what is wrong though is when a parent takes that choice away from the child. Yes SOME men want to be cut as an adult but there are lots more who are happy to be intact.

    Hope this helps

Both types of penises can experience pleasurable feelings. However...

,,,the difference is from what kinds of nerves the pleasure

    sensations are coming from.

An uncircumcised penis can derive high levels of pleasure from

BOTH touch sensitive nerves and pressure sensitive nerves.

But a circumcised penis, which has had most of its touch sensitive

nerves removed, experiences pleasure from pressure sensitive nerves.

And there is a big difference, and the women needs to know this because

she is on the receiving end of the penis during intercourse thrusting and

the wrong kind of penis can adversely affect her sexual pleasure.

It's all more clearly explained at these weblinks:

    he noticed many differences.

Grrr. I hate reading the answers and opinions that people have on circumcision. Get a life! I am circumcised so I decided to get my son circumcised as well. His penis is fine. You don't have a say in the matter of what I do or don't do to MY children. I also hate when people say that men with circumcised men have less feeling. The tip of my penis is extremely sensitive. Every man is different. Just because a man isn't very sensitive might not have anything to do with the fact that he is circumcised. He could have very well been not very sensitive down there even if he wasn't. If our next child is another boy he will be circumcised as well.

Well many men have been circumcised as adults and thus do have

    experience of both sides.

But many circumcised men do NOT know what it is like to be Intact.

and believe that they are "normal".

However it is much easier for Intact men to guess what cut men are loosing

by pulling their foreskin back before masturbating or having sex.

As a Top Contributor who answers many Questions here I notice that almost

all the Premature Ejaculation problems come from circumcised men.

All the Erectile dysfunction Questions come from cut men

Most of the penile fungal problems are also from cut men.

And 90% of questions involving female lack of orgasm problems we find

    the male is circumcised.

This has to tell us that foreskin evolved for a purpose.

I would agree with everything @ mayisay says.

Incidently female circumcision is exactly the same as the male

what you are describing is clitordectomy not circumcision.

Circumcision Removes the Most Sensitive Parts of the Penis

A sensitivity study of the adult penis in circumcised and uncircumcised men shows that the uncircumcised penis is significantly more sensitive. The most sensitive location on the circumcised penis is the circumcision scar on the ventral surface. Five locations on the uncircumcised penis that are routinely removed at circumcision are significantly more sensitive than the most sensitive location on the circumcised penis.

In addition, the glans (head) of the circumcised penis is less sensitive to fine touch than the glans of the uncircumcised penis. The tip of the foreskin is the most sensitive region of the uncircumcised penis, and it is significantly more sensitive than the most sensitive area of the circumcised penis. Circumcision removes the most sensitive parts of the penis.

This study presents the first extensive testing of fine touch pressure thresholds of the adult penis. The monofiliment testing instruments are calibrated and have been used to test female genital sensitivity.
