Buying a car on New Years Eve?
My husband and I are saving up money so we can buy a car on New Years Eve and get the good deals.
1. Is it worth it to wait? Are there really better deals on New Years Eve than at any other time of the year?
2. I don't have good credit mostly because I've never had a credit card, and bills, up until a few weeks ago, were in my husbands name. We are trying to boost my credit. Would financing a car, then paying it off within one month harm my credit, increase my credit, or do nothing for my credit?
Thank you!

There's nothing magical about buying a car on New Year's Eve. If you can find a dealership that's open, they won't be giving cars away. The 2011's are already in the showrooms and the 2010's are a model year old now.

Why would New Years Eve be better than any other time of year? The 2010's are virtually gone now. Waiting does nothing for you. Now is the time.
The only way to tell if you can get a car financed is to go in, pick out a car, fill out a credit application and see what happens.

How are you going to have enough money in a month to pay off a car? Financing, and making the payments will increase your credit. If you have enough money, pay for it in cash- you will get a better deal anyway. Dealers make more money off of financing.

right NOW is the best time to buy a car..because the 2011's just came out and they are trying to get rid of the 2010s
