  • My 1 year old did something to my computer and now the f keys are the default.?

I use the volume keys a lot, so one day when I tried to push mute and something popped up, I was confused.  I have determined that the f keys are now the primary use.  I want to get it back to where I can use the volume key.  I have an HP all in one, original keyboard.

  • Going to Disneyland in December...?

My husband and I will be going to Disneyland/CA Adventure on the 10th and 11th (tues and wed.) of December. I know the benefits of going at this time are fewer people in line, but I want to know what are the disadvantages. Do both parks close early even when it's the Holiday Season? Does World of Color not play on some nights? etc...

  • Ex-Mormons, or Ex-Christians...?

When did you consider yourself ex-mormon or ex-Christian? Did you continue to wear the moniker long after you stopped believing, or did you denounce it the second you believe everything you were taught was false?

    Just curious...

  • Christians, question about the Trinity...?

Now, the Trinity is God which consists of God the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost, correct? Before Christ was born was God still the trinity, or was He a two-in-one being. Also, what happened to Christ's body after He ascended to Heaven?

  • Buying a car on New Years Eve?

My husband and I are saving up money so we can buy a car on New Years Eve and get the good deals.

    1. Is it worth it to wait? Are there really better deals on New Years Eve than at any other time of the year?

    2. I don't have good credit mostly because I've never had a credit card, and bills, up until a few weeks ago, were in my husbands name. We are trying to boost my credit. Would financing a car, then paying it off within one month harm my credit, increase my credit, or do nothing for my credit?

    Thank you!

  • Want a credit card, have no credit...?

I did not get a cc in my youth because I didn't want that responsibility when I was so young. Now that I am older I would like a cc but I was just denied because I have no credit history. If my husband, who does have good credit, applies for a cc and I get the second "free" cc would the purchases on that card go towards my credit or his?

I feel like I'm being punished now for my prudence as a youth.

  • Raising the hem line on a bridesmaid dress...?

I have a braids maids dress that is beautiful but the length is all the way to the floor, which was fine for the wedding, but now I want to wear it to a ball my husband's school puts on every year and I want to raise the hem line to knee length. The fabric is taffeta and I have experience in sewing, mostly costumes for ren faires and the such. Should I attempt to do this myself, and if so how? Or should I take it into a professional?

  • Who is Jesus? What is a Christian?

I've looked at a lot of questions with answers that try to prove the Mormon church is false, or why it isn't Christian. I found one point of reasoning to be contradicting and would like people to clear it up for me. I've copied and pasted them below:

    1) Mormonism rejects the truth that Jesus is God, which means that mormonism has a different and fake "god" and a different and fake "jesus" that cannot save anyone from being sent to hell.

    2) The Bible teaches that Jesus is God's only begotton son.

So what is it, is Jesus God or is he the only begotten of God?

Another thing, people try to discredit our beliefs by saying we believe Jesus and Lucier are brothers. Well, if God created Lucifer, wouldn't he be a son of sorts? And aren't we all sons and daughters of God? And if God didn't create Lucifer, where did he come from?

Another thing (the last one, I promise) Christians say that the Nicene creed and the Athanasian creed are what describes Christians and what Christians believe. Wouldn't that actually be what Catholics believe to be Christian? Why would creeds defined by uninspired men from an uninspired church define hundreds of years after Christ died, be used today by non-Catholics to define what a Christian is?

  • Which liquid foundation should I try?

I'm looking to buy a liquid foundation, something I haven't worn in at least three years (I've been wearing maybelline mineral powder). I have fair skin with little to no blemishes. I want some basic coverage that feels light weight and doesn't look like I'm wearing makeup at all. What do you recommend?

    PS

I want something I can buy at Riteaid.

  • 3 year old afraid of the dark and or sleeping.?

My 3 year old recently became afraid of the dark and or sleeping. I (the mother) have been the one to put him to sleep usually and I've been doing a project which takes me out of the home in the evenings and I don't get back until way passed his bed time.

My husband has been taking over the night time duty and things were going well the first few weeks and then a few nights ago he woke up crying and ever since he's been afraid of the dark.

Is this something that will pass? Is it because I'm not the one putting him to bed or is it because of the "nightmare" a few nights ago or a combination of the two?

Any suggestions on how to get him to go to bed?

And yes, I'm posting this at 1:31 a.m. because he refuses to go to sleep.
