Nausea Question- Just curious?
So my husband works at a cancer hospital and they have patients smell isopropyl alcohol wipes to deal with nausea. It actually works. I couldn't find anything on the internet about this and pregnant woman. Obviously I will ask my doctor if it's ok but does anyone know if this is ok for pregnant woman to do? Just curious! This is my third pregnancy and I am 7 weeks! Nausea and throwing up have just started... I usually end up on zofran and phenigrin and I still throw up all day.

I definitely ask the doc about the alcohol wipes.
One of the best cures I've found for nausea is ginger. My favorite brand is GinGins. You can use ginger in a tea form, or eat/suck on crystallized ginger. Lots of people say Ginger ale is good as well, but I've never tried it.

I found that "Wet ones" helped me whenever I felt nauseous through my morning sickness. I would kick a fresh lemon scented wipe under my nostrils for hoursss! It did help on some occasions. I'd advise you to speak with your doctor before sniffing anything intoxicating like ethanol. Good luck!!
