Are you still going to vote for Meg Whitman even if she is a lier and a fraud?

Since her opponent is Governor Moonbeam, there doesn't seem to be much of a choice. Between her and Jerry Brown, I would choose her. I lived through the first two terms of Jerry Brown, and have no desire to elect him for a third term as Governor.

I am disturbed that she did not hire an American and many of us would do maid work for $23 an hour. These rich people can get away with illegal hiring because it saves them money, their primary concern.

Whitman is still an unknown quantity to me because she has not had press conferences and answered questions except with small Republican groups, probably assuring them she would cut taxes and cut spending. The public never hears about cutting protections for vulnerable populations, environmental standards, and a multitude of California issues. Being ex-CEO of Ebay gives her familiarity with young people. She did not vote for 28 years so why is she now interested in beng Governor? She isnt. It was the California GOP who needed a front man to trash our state.

The Dems should have found someone younger than Jerry and a replacement for Boxer, I agree but they didnt. At least Jerry does not need OTJ training. He is a native son who knows California inside and out.

Someone here said Jerry Brown was a thief and corrupt. He is the Atty General and just arressted those crooks in Bell, Calif. for swindling the citizens there. He was never corrupt. I don't think that person remembers how he saved California money, gave us a surplus, was ahead of his time with energy and environment concerns. He was called Moonbeam because his ideas were considered not mainstream in the 1970s. But how right he was.

Why would you be calling her a liar and a fraud. She has the paper work which shows she was fooled. She went through a temp agency, like she suppose to. They are suppose to do all the reference and background. Whether or not the maid finally said something or not is a she said, she said, situation. There isn't any way to know who is telling the truth. The paper trail indicates that the maid is the one who was and is being dishonest.

Democrats who are the embodiment of lies and deception are always playing these games of character assassination, knowing full well that they are far worse than the person they are attacking. No many people will be falling for their stupid attack ads and propaganda this time. Meg Whitman is a liberal and a RINO, but Jerry Brown is far worse.

People that are Voting Tea Party/Repubs Are proving they have no regard for anything but to get their Candidates in. If they Qualify is not important. This is their mindset.

Firstly, she is not a liar or fraud. This is such a put up job by the corrupt Jerry Brown and his band of thieves. Check his record against hers instead of buying into the personal attacks. Such a bunch of BS against an honorable woman. It even comes across on the news as a fake with the liberal Atty., Gloria Alred, who backs Brown btw, knowing this case will go nowhere. Such a farce, that most intelligent people see right through it!

Such negative personal attacks show they have nothing of substance against Whitman and she would get my vote!

Well, then, she ought to be already highly qualified to serve in Congress with all the other certified liars and frauds and crooks. They won't have to break her in. (Are you sure she isn't a RINO?). Plus, I would vote for just about anyone who opposes the triple axis of evil: Obama, Pelosi, and Reid.

I see nothing in your link that suggests she is lying about anything. But what I do find remarkable is that for some reason, news agencies can spend so much of their resources digging up dirt on Republican candidates for the Senate and Governorships but we never hear a word about the Democrats.

Why is it so remarkable that O'Donnell dabbled in witchcraft as a teenager but not remarkable that her Democrat opponent Coons, is an admitted Marxist for example? I should think that is far more important an issue.
