Contador positive for a steroid - is anyone buying his lame excuse?
He tested positive for clenbuterol. He claims he got it from bad meat. Sounds a lot like the kind of lame excuses Landis made, or the idiotic excuses made by last year's NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year, Brian Cushing.
Or do you think that his claims have merit, and maybe I'm just too jaded by the rampant use of performance enhancers that has tainted the sport?

The problem is that cycling watches every move these guys make and test then tests again, more than any other sport. Now based on what we know of the test, the samples only show a very very small amount of Clen and of the tests that show it it is on the rest days, the days relating to when he ate the meat. The days before and after show no traces. Spain and a few other European countries have had issues in the past with Clen entering the food supply and it is still used today. I'll give him a pass on this one, if it was EPO or a high concentration of an other steroid I'd feel differently.

I do not relatively do study on Muslim charities, on the grounds that I do not ought to see matters to suppose that any person from a faith can also be well. Moreover, besides the Middle East, so much muslim international locations are those wanting support, they do not have the cash to do charity on an worldwide stage. You will have to watch Al-Jazeera, you'll be able to get precise expertise at the Islamic global there. They said on a Muslim support employer as soon as, which BBC and CNN all refused to broadcast. I can deliver you an illustration of a muslim state regardless that. I reside in a single, wherein there may be approximately a two% minority of Christians, Hindus, Jains, Buddhists, and different religions. Everything from Eid to Buddha Purnima will get a countrywide excursion right here, and the charter, aids, healthcare, taxes, is all same for every body. Absolutely no bias. Of direction, fundies emerge from time to time, however its now not best from the Muslim part, and the govt. continually manages to deal with it. Edit: in case your going to disregard posiitive feedback simply on the grounds that there are not any assets or hyperlinks supplied, possibly you will have to do your possess study, as an alternative of asking persons on an solutions discussion board.

Too little to be purposeful doping agent. He was tested day before and day after, with no positive. So I would buy off on the food ingestion. The problem is that WADA will have to suspend him anyway.... I just don't know for how long the minimum is.

My main thought is that cycling is hoisting itself on its own petard.
They test for such minute traces of substances that almost everyone gets a "positive" result once or twice, and then they advertise it, thereby ruining their own sport's reputation.
Now EVERYONE thinks EVERY RIDER dopes somehow. I believe every team does. Of course, they're only going to get an AMERICAN for it, right?!
I think they should just accept that those skiing dudes with huge legs must do drugs in order to win.

If you actually read the articles on this, you would know that the levels are vanishingly small. He may be guilty, but its also possible that he's telling the truth. In either case, it wasn't enough to give him a competitive advantage.
Time will tell. No skin off my spandex'd butt either way.
