SEATTLE PACIFIC UNIVERSITY? ST. MARTINS? Seattle univ?

Im live in Hawaii, and I'm not too sure if i would get into a university. I graduate high school in 2011.

right now my gpa is a 2.9. And im taking my SAT in November 2010 to raise my scores.

I want to major in Psychology. And I was looking into Seattle Pacific University or Seattle U.

But idk my family is not financially ready for me to go straight into a university. So would it be a better plan for me to start off moving to Seattle and attending a community/junior college first? for two years then transfer to a university? I have family who can provide a place to live while i attend school. But is starting off at a community college a good choice?

Or should i start off at St. Martins University in Laceys, WA?
