Fever 9 days after D&C?

I had a miscarriage with fetal demise 2 weeks prior to the d&c. I had the procedure done on September 24 and was told to take my temperature for the first 5 days regularly, which I did. Today I began to feel feverish, took my temperature and it is slowly rising, from 99.0-99.7-100.0 with-in about a 3 hour period. I called my doctor because I am worried about infection in my uterus and causing further fertility issues. She is calling me in an antibiotic but unfortunately the pharmacy doesn't open until 10 am tomorrow. My question really is what are the chances an infection could cause future infertility? I have tried to Google it but really can't find any useful information? So anything you have will help tremendously!! My husband has an AC reconstruction surgery scheduled first thing Monday morning so I can't get into the doctor until Friday when he will be strong enough to be by himself for a few hours. I am totally freaking out....Also I am totally freaked out about general anesthesia, so I had them give me an epidural with a twilight and have had a TON of back pain that is pretty unrelieved with the pain medicine they have given me.....I am dealing with the pain but really worried about the fever!

I would think that you would need to be checked out by a doctor before Friday! Maybe where you live they have an urgent care clinic that will see you. Your back hurts because of the way you were probally laying during the D&C. Please get checked out you more than likely have an infection. Sorry about your loss.
