What happens after a person commits suicide?

Is the struggle over? Do they feel that same euphoric feeling that you get when you are having an awful, terrible, horrifying dream, and you wake up and realize its just a dream? Do you think they feel guilt after the soul leaves the body, like "Oh, ****. Now I'm dead. Maybe this wasn't a good idea." Are they able to continue in afterlife, or are they subjected to some sort of punishment for thier actions?

The final Judgement Day does not occur until all those dead in the memorial tombs are resurrected & re-educated about God's requirements. The dead in the mean time only exist in the memory of those living. After their resurrection, eventual judgement will be based on their decisions AFTER they have had opportunity to learn & apply God's principles & commandments...not before!

"He who has died has been *acquitted* from his sin." --Romans 6:7

('Acquitted' = "declared not guilty; legally blameless")

Those who commit suicide are usually not in a 'sane' state of mind, & truly feel & believe that suicide is the only answer---There is no reason to believe that this qualifies as an unforgiveable sin!

My belief says your soul goes to the Summerland, where life is idyllic every creature comfort is there. You share the events of the life you just lived you , you can stay there as long as you wish or you can have another life , sometimes you choice a type life were you could learn a lesson, challenged in a previous life.

There is no judgement, no good or bad..only a mission completed.

Suicide is a permanent (often messy) solution to a (often) temporary problem. It is usually left to the friends and family to clean up the mess. I've seen first-hand what it does to a wife to have to scrape her husband's brains off the ceiling and walls of their bedroom.

Suicide punishes those that remain, not the one that commits the act.

    Burial.

If you are asking about Biblical theology, the Bible never addresses any different standard for the sin of suicide versus other sins.

Of course, since most suicide is the result of a mental illness or an episode of mental dysfunction, one would expect a loving God to deal accordingly. The Bible says that eternal fate is based upon one's acceptance of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Whether or not a particular sin existed in a person's life is never mentioned as a standard for eternal destination (beyond the "sin of unbelief" itself.)

An accident is an unfinished agenda. So is suicide. The Soul's agenda is not complete here. Therefore, it cannot qualify transmigration and if that is a punishment, so shall it be, until the soul qualifies for that.

Same thing that happens with the rest of us, we poop our pants.

Really, We either go to be with the Lord in heaven if we are a believer in Jesus Christ and lose our rewards. Or we go to that bad place where unbelievers go called hell and ultimately the Lake of Fire

I would say it is usually a big mistake.

Suicide is an act of despair! It is said that despair is the unforgivable sin, but think that God is too merciful to let the poor wretch burn in Hell.

I believe if they did think it was wrong, thought about it before doing it, and freely chose it anyway, it is a mortal sin wich leads to Hell. However if they didn't think it was wrong and did it, well God would deside their fate, or the same if it wasn't a free choice, or they did it in the heat of the moment. In order for it to be a mortal sin, it must meet alll three requirments.

Since suicide is a crime in most states, the family has to ante up the bail money and hire an attorney.

He or she is either cremated or buried. Nothing more nothing less until the day they are called

forth, if found worthy to be called, from the grave in being created and given the breath of life to

join those who are to instruct them here on earth as to what GOD's instruction is to us and how

we can enter into the Kingdom rule of everlasting life in paradise here on earth.
