Probability Question?
Real quick one hopefully.
With 50 numbers what is the probability of matching 3 numbers out of 6 being drawn?
So basically it's a lottery, so once one number has been drawn that number no longer comes up. I think I have worked out that matching all 6 numbers is 1/15.8million or so but matching 3 numbers surely isn't just a case of dividing that by 2?
Sorry if it's a crap explanation, hopefully you get what I mean.
