Why can't I remember my dreams most of the time?

You know, when you sleep and you wake up and you can kinda remember a little bit of your dream and then like 1 hour later, you have NO CLUE what you dreamed of!! Why is that???????

1.since the brain was left behind contained within body, lying in the bed.generally speaking in that stage, you have no brain to support the dream experience,

2.when some one was having a good quality of sleep, one was going in a short while to the third level of sleep, soon one shall gain to one's first level right before wake up fresh, this ending stage whenever one could only remember the dream,in other word, only 1 % of the dream that we could possibly remembered, where our soul was about to re-engage to the brain.
