What are your thoughts on the decision made by Great Britain to recognize Druidry as a religion?
Druids worship Stonehenge and other things in nature. They are now a recognized religion in Great Britain. They have now reached charitable status meaning now they no longer have to pay taxes.
It is not my intention to belittle anyone's beliefs. God gave everyone a choice. Please do not take offense to my question. God bless.

Well, I don't think Druids worship Stonehenge so much as they use it to honor a sacred space. I mean, Christians don't worship Golgotha, they worship God. Druids commune with nature & nature spirits, they don't worship them....
I think it's great! Why should Catholicism & Christian religions get all the perks? They shouldn't have to pay taxes any more than any other organized religion!

Why wouldn't they recognize them, it's a religion. Although the name is kind of a misnomer, from my understanding, they have very little connection to the bronze age druids. A closer religion to them would be Celtic Reconstructionists. A druid wasn't an adherent, they were the leaders. It'd be like calling Christianity Priestism or Islam Imamism.

All Religions are man made and serve only to deceive humanity from the truth that is found only in Christ Jesus, which also includes Druidry. Satan is very wise. He knows that by deceiving people from receiving Christ, their souls will not enter heaven nor the coming Kingdom of Christ on this earth and at least 6 and one half billion alive today are being lead astray by him, until their appointed time..

no longer a Christian, yet i believe it particularly is approximately time. choose that persons would be greater tolerant of the ideals of others. no count if Atheist, Druid, Christian, Jewish or what have you ever. To Jesus it did no longer count what the thought, he dealt with everybody with fairness and justice, no count what their concept, in comparison to those that accompanied after him over the centuries. using fact somebody isn't Christian in concept does no longer mean they do no longer look to be purely or loving or worrying. that's what the holier than thou do. manage human beings incorrect. wish sometime all would be formally general somewhat of hated interior the call of Christ.

Not too sure they worship Stonehenge.
But the current head of the Church of England has strong Druid ties. What a travesty!

That's quite nice, at least druids don't go around starting wars and they have been here for far longer than any Christians have and whats more they're nice.
Source(s): Druids don't worship Stonehenge, as Christians don't worship churches - ?Lv 41 decade ago
There are over 10,000 of them. Seems kind of fair that they would have the same status as other organized religions.

I think it's good in a way, they love nature and the world so it's OK by me.
