You could play his game - you already know a bit about him. Create a fake profile of another girl (don't use obvious pics - find some more obscure ones), start talking to him and see if his story matches up.

Ask him to do a video chat if your worried about what he looks like. But if its personality and you think he is lying about everything he says, then you should ask him about stories you have heard before and pretend like he never told you, if he changes it up alot then he is probably a liar also talk to one of his family members if he has no family members on his facebook then thats usually a dead givaway.

Ask for his phone number and call him, and throughout your conversation ask him a question about some details on his facebook, or play the conversation in such a way that he talks about it.
If he doesn't give you his phone number since he's your boyfriend, then obviously...
