Would people accept evolution if scientist called "homo sapiens" "hetero sapiens"?

Could this be a form of homophobia?

Homo is Latin for "human" so are homophobic people afraid of humanity?

Funny. But the word "homophobic" is actually Greek in origin, not Latin. In Greek, homo- means "same" ("human" is anthropo-).Technically, this would mean "fear of people which are the same", but since "homo" is also an abbreviation of the word "homosexual" (one who is attracted to people of the same sex), "homophobia" has come to mean "fear or dislike of homosexuals."

The word "homosexual" itself is a chimera, since the root "sexual" is Latin. A more purely Greek alternative is "homophile."

But you're a top contributor in this section, so I'll assume you're knowledgeable enough to not ask such silly questions in earnest. I'll take this as a joke.

    Nah!

Why anyone would want to proclaim, "I was made without ONE INTELLIGENT THOUGHT!!! is beyond my ability to guess but I am sure you have never actually given it a thought.

BTW, it no intelligent thought was part of creation, then we have no purpose or morality either ...as purpose and right and wrong are determined by the Creator and never by the created.

Why you would want to connect homosexuality to such an ignorant position is from your own stupidity.

    Hope this helps

Sorry, but "homo" is Latin for "man". The famous quote from Herod when He presented Jesus to the crowd after flogging Him - "Ecce homo!" - "Behold, the man!".

Haha good question. Perhaps subconsciously this is due to homophobia, but it seems unlikely.

It is extremely difficult for people to break away from indoctrinated beliefs, as their entire lives can be built around a specific belief system pushed on them since birth. No matter what evidence is presented to them, such individuals will never submit to reason.

    No.

It's because evolution conflicts with the stories in their cherished holy books.
