I just got a copy of my DD214 from 1982 it says I was discharged for homosexual activity but honorably.?
Is there legal recourse to fix this document?
I served my country for 5 years and have refused to use this document due to my concerns about being discriminated against.
Most of my GI Bill was wasted and after the recent changes I assumed wrongly that my privacy was at long last being protected...it is NOT.

3 AnswersWords & Wordplay10 years agoWould people accept evolution if scientist called "homo sapiens" "hetero sapiens"?
Could this be a form of homophobia?
Homo is Latin for "human" so are homophobic people afraid of humanity?
11 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhy don't most people know about the religion they profess to follow?
I base this question on this survey.
12 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoHow is it that Britain has way more atheist than the USA by percentage but also way more psychics?
USA somewhere between 3% to 9% atheist.
Britain somewhere between 31% to 44% atheist.
Yet Britain is called by most accounts the most haunted country on earth with way more psychics than California.
This isn't a complaint, in fact to me it's entertaining; but it does seem a bit odd.

7 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoIf you believe in a subjective God but not an objective God are you an atheist?
Subjective God = An internal mental/emotional state that's personal and unique.
Objective God = An external separate entity that's physical or spiritual.
I believe in a subjective God exclusively.
6 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhat is the difference between a Sufi in ecstasy and a Christian under the influence of the Holy Spirit?
It seems like the difference between a hurricane and a typhoon.
These certainly aren't the only two examples of religious ecstasy but the results seem to be exactly the same in all cases.
Isn't it better to seek the experience than to be concerned about the label; isn't this a common human experience that transcends religion?
6 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoDoes conflict force us to understand one another?
Through my life one group after another has been blamed for the ills of the world.
First it was the Blacks.
Then it was interracial marriage.
Then it was the unions.
Then it was illegal immigrants.
Then it was Islam.
Then it was the gays.
Mix and match the order because they widely overlap.
Before my time it was European immigrants and Catholics.
In each case as these under represented people became the focus for hate they've had to find their voice and as their voice becomes stronger the hate speakers retreat.
Won't it be great when there's no one left to hate?
6 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWith a passage like this how can Christians say there's no reincarnation?
Matthew 11:11 - 14
I tell you the truth: Among those born of women there has not risen anyone greater than John the Baptist; yet he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.
From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been forcefully advancing, and forceful men lay hold of it.
For all the Prophets and the Law prophesied until John.
And if you are willing to accept it, he is Elijah who was to come.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Elijah was either dead or at least 1,100 years old.
10 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoDo these verses mean the Christian theory of freedom of choice is against the "Word of God"?
Romans 8:29 - 30
For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.
And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.
Or is there special instructions on how to interpret these verses so their meaning is something different than what they say?
(This seems to happen a LOT)

10 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoSpiritually do you secretly watch Fox News because you agree with them but are too ashamed to admit it?
Someone must be watching or they would shut down but I can find no one willing to confess.
