I excommunicated myself.
A man representing a faith cannot exclude you from the love of God.
All that man is doing is making a public statement to those that agree with him that you are no longer a "team player".
You are your own church are you not?
Within you is the spirit trapped in the flesh yearning to be free which will happen one day.
Go down to the field or climb the hill or sit by the river or walk amongst the people in the city and realise that you are already in your church and whilst your doing that open your mind and your heart and let your spirit soar like a kite and speak to whom you know loves you.
Rituals,rites what are they.
There is no record of Jesus going through these things.Anytime he entered a synagogue or the Temple he created confusion and wasn't considered welcome.
The kingdom of heaven is within you and all around you and no building book nor bishop can excommunicate you from your inheritence.
Seek grace and let her build you a temple forever and ever.

There's Chris and his free ticket to heaven again. Yes, there is salvation after excommunication. Don't let non-Catholics tell you about their own version of excommunication. Look it up and you'll see it has to do with people who will publicly go against the church and it's teachings. You can come back by way of a confession/reconciliation.

Religion, like Science & the authentic Mystery Schools is a door.
Some will stand outside the door & they will discuss the theories of walking thru the door.
Some will walk thru the door, stand just inside & discuss the experience of having walked thru the door.
Some will eventually turn around to see a great & long hall behind them with a Light in the distance.
Some will continue to gaze at the Great Light & discuss theories of Being in that Light.
Some will eventually hear the Call of the Light & begin their walk down the great hall.
There are no wrong starting places & all paths do lead up the mountain.
But at the top of the mountain is yet one more path, & all must walk it.
Many Blessings!
Edit:
For some called renegade the apostasy & rejection of accepted interpretations happens as a precursor to finding a deeper understanding.
Although many express anger in this time because of their disillusionment it is actually a positive move for some. Eventually the anger subsides & they return to seeking freed of the programmed interpretations realizing that the path they sought all along was the one that was within.
Many Blessings!

Salvation BEGINS with excommunication. Any nominal Christian religion that removes its members with no chance of them being able to return after a reasonable time of repentance (dependent upon the person, not some rule) is in violation of the 2nd letter to the Corinthian congregation, wherein it states that, while a person who does not respond to correction should be removed (1st letter to the Corinthians), but one WHO REPENTS should not be left outside the congregation indefinitely, causing more harm than good.

yes there is , by publicly announcing that the doctrine you had taught which was heretical was wrong, you are then welcomed back with open arms
