    If someone said it to you, s/he probably means that you don't raise the same moral restrictions when you will benefit from something that you raise when the speaker will benefit.

    It shouldn't, and probably doesn't in most cases. But without some details from you, I could only speculate. For example the morality of a vegetarian might only infrequently lead to harassing meat eaters.

    So, what's YOUR particular beef? LOL;-)
