good all around meat dehydrater?
I changed the oil in my truck today.Its an old 7.3 diesel and it holds 13 quarts.I also changed the air filter.Whats a good high capacity meat dehydrater in the $400 range?My old Cabelas unit gave out after 5 years and Im lookin to make some jerky here real soon.

You should get a Newell , those things can suck the liquid out of a piece of meat in 3 minutes.

Bob,,,,,ferreal......just use your oven...place meat on racks none touching, open door just ajar and place a wooden spoon in it to keep from closing and slowly turn on oven till the light just comes on.......9 hours later ....VOILA! jerky !!!!!!!!!!
