My kids big screen was hit with a shoe, now the picture is distorted...?

Can it be fixed and if so, is it affordable?

Update:

it is a philips and it is a lcd flat screen 42"

    Depending on how long you've had it, I would check to see if it's still under warranty....otherwise I'd get an estimate at your local tv repair shop.

    Hell definite............. and that i do no longer understand all people who would not! i do no longer advise to yet now and returned definite I do. thoughts are so effective and your head has a tendency to have its way inflicting your tongue to wag, then you certainly say something ridiculously stupid so as which you would be able to experience like a actual a s s day after today. :-) of path i does no longer understand something approximately feeling like a actual a s s day after today. hehhe ;-)

    I would beat the kids, then edit your question to include brand and model number. a rear projection will likely just need the light engine realigned.
